I wish I could see this every morning
After a year of hard work on a project in Guatemala City I got an assignment at Quetzaltenango (Xela). What a great place to go!, it is like they sent me on vacations!. I knew I had to work on a tight schedule to complete the set of pictures I had to shoot but I was happy as I could get. I love Xela, but takes time to relax huh?
So I was still under the “city concept” inside my head making my way into the hotel (I got there kinda late). At the next morning I almost forgot where I was. Went out for breakfast and begin to relax while walking on the city.
My journey began to Chicabal Lagoon, it was early and kinda foggy. My mind was caught on my “office” problems along my way to my final destination.
I don’t remember exaclty where I was when I took this picture. I just remember coming out of my “little world” while walking and then suddenly I take a look to the left… there I go, my first picture for my assignment about nature and landscapes of Guatemala.
I truly want to remember the exact spot, but the magnitude of the beauty I saw was so big, that I had to empty my head to be able of enjoy it ![]()
